Where is Spruce Creek Preserve: Spruce Creek Preserve is located in Dunnellon, Fl. although it seems to be located more in Ocala. This fantastic 55 and better community is west on Hwy 200 past CR 484. It is adjacent to state forest which makes it perfect for nature enthusiasts.
What do residents like about SCP? The homeowners love that it is just enough out of town to be nice and quiet. It is away from the traffic and there are no crazy golf cart drivers buzzing down the main roads. Spruce Creek Preserve has a gorgeous clubouse with library, outodoor pool, pickle ball courts and more. There is a golf course here as well however it is not included in the HOA fees. (Can you spot the roofers on the roof?)
What is included in the HOA fees? This is a deed restricted community and there is an active HOA in place. The fees are around $130 a month which is lower for this type of community. The fees include 24 guard gate, heated pool, clubhouse activities, trash pick up and basic cable through FiberVision.
