Light up Ocala is this weekend November 27th on the Downtown square in beautiful, historic D
owntown Ocala. This is Ocala’s Official kick off to the Holiday Season. It is held every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and has an annual estimated attendance of over 20,000 people. With a turn out like that, you know it must be fun!
This time, due to size and popularity, the venue has grown. There will now be 3 stages with live entertainment, vendors selling crafts and food, people watching,a Junior Christmas Parade, community togetherness and more. Take a horse and buggy ride, eat a nice dinner at one of the many great restaurants downtown and share in the Holiday Cheer as they “flip the switch” on the giant decorated Christmas tree.
The even kicks off around 4:00pm and runs until 9:30pm with the lighting of the tree at 7:30 pm.
What better way to kick off the Holidays than to join family and friends at Light up Ocala.
