Are you looking for a nice spot to relax with your friends or have a romantic diner? Ocala has a few fantastic wine bars that are perfect for you! I had the tough job of testing out a few of these to make sure they were good before I could confidently recommend them!
Here are my favorites:
- Katya Vineyards– Located in downtown Ocala, just North of the square. They offer a full menu prepared by award wining Chef Tony. He has one of the few restaurants in Florida that is allowed to carry real Kobe beef. Aside from the delicious menu, the owners have hand selected wines from smaller family owned vineyards including their own vineyard, Sokol. They have an extensive wine list so you are sure to find one to suite your palate.
- Corkscrew– This is a super fun place to go with a group. You can create you own wine blend here or sample what is available. There is live music on the weekends so make your reservations well in advanced.
- The Wine Experience – Located at 36 SW 1st Ave Ocala – A favorite quaint spot. I like this place because they have sharable food as well as a nice selection of boutique wines. The live performers they have stopping in here too are amazing! If wine is not your thing they also have a nice selection of craft beers.
- Courtyard on Broadway – 120 SW Broadway St, Ocala – Another quaint spot with light shareable foods and a nice selection of wines. What we loved about this place is the selection of board games you can play! What a fun place to just relax! This is also a great spot to rent for events so keep that in mind!
