Looking for things to do on the 4th of July in Ocala?
Ocala was once voted an All American City so it would make sense that we love to celebrate the 4th of July! There are a few events going on in town that will be worth checking out.
- God and Country Day – JCI Ocala Jaycees 50th Annual God & Country Day 4th of July Festival. Pony rides, train rides, face painting bounce houses and water slides (Arm bands available for inflatables for $10). Paint ball tent and bungee bounce, crafts and more! Free field games, cornhole, etc for kids from 3:00 to 5:00. Live entertainment begins at 5:00 p.m. and main act begins at 7:45 p.m. No cover charge – $5.00 parking fee. Event takes place on Hwy 27 near Golden Ocala
- Celebrate America’s independence on July 4, 2019 with fun, food, great bands and the area’s largest fireworks display on The Town Square at Circle Square Commons! You won’t want to miss it! Circle Square Commons is located at 8405 SW 80th Street, Ocala, FL 34481. This event is open to the public. Gates open at 4 pm. 3. Celebrate the 4th of July with the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, Inc. and Chorus as they provide a tribute to our independence and all things patriotic! This annual special event sells out every season, so get your seat while it’s still available! July 4th from 3-5pm
I just want to remind you as well to be aware of animals when using fireworks. Keep your displays to a minimum and be mindful of your pets!
